Glasgow Friends of Israel has been established to advocate for Peace for both the Israeli and Palestinian people. As it will not be possible to have Peace for just one side, supporters and activists work for a secure and lasting Peace for both peoples.
GFI is not a religious organisation and is supported by Jews, Christians, Muslims, Hindus and people of other religions and none.
All are welcome

Tesco opened its first checkout-free store in London today.
The technology is provided by Israeli tech start-up Trigo, which has similar partnerships with supermarkets in Germany and the Netherlands.
We often shop in Tesco as they have a good range of Israeli produce and we look forward to ‘Get Go’ coming to Glasgow.
Not happy with this innovation I don't even use the serve yourself stations at the supermarket. May be a wonderful concept but, will lead to job losses and chaos if the system goes down.
More jobs lost. I refuse to use them at my local Sainsbury, try to tell the staff trying to direct me to self checkout they are cutting their own throats, but doesn't register, they just smile or shrug their shoulders.
What are the Unions doing?
Prefer playing politics.
I was Union Rep at Asda in the 90s and this would have never got through then.
But we served our members, not some lefty political project. 🇬🇧😠
